Purpose and authorship
We cover food and home, keeping things in use, nearby nature, journeys and energy, and environmental conversation and participation. Guides focus on practical understanding rather than prescribing one lifestyle.
Articles are published under the knowledy.com name. We aim to answer a specific reader question and include a useful practical element, such as a worked example, comparison, checklist, decision guide, or sequence of steps.
Research and sources
We link to sources near the statements they support. Primary documentation, original research, official specifications, and relevant public authorities take priority for factual claims. We distinguish documented facts, manufacturer claims, and our interpretation, and describe limitations when the answer depends on circumstances.
Production and AI
We use AI systems to assist with research, drafting, illustration, and quality checks. A different model reviews the written articles against their sources and our editorial criteria. These checks can miss errors and do not amount to expert or hands-on review. The publisher remains responsible for the material it publishes.
Some article images are generated illustrations. They are used to explain concepts or establish a visual context; they are not evidence of product testing, field reporting, or an event we witnessed. Diagrams that depend on exact labels or data are constructed from checked information.
Tests and expertise
We describe a product as tested or personally used only when evidence of that work has been supplied. When actual testing is included, the article states its method and limitations. We do not invent reviewers, professional qualifications, interviews, or expert approval.
General information about health, money, law, or safety is based on authoritative sources. Personalized recommendations and claims about safety or effectiveness require review by an appropriately qualified specialist before publication. An AI review does not meet that requirement.
